A series of soluble trinuclear silver(I) complexes containing
monocapped and bicapped
acetylides,
[Ag3(LL)3(μ3-η1-C⋮CR)]2+
and
[Ag3(LL)3(μ3-η1-C⋮C-C6H4-NO2-p)2]+
[LL=[(C6H5)2P]2CH2 (dppm),
[(C6H5)2P]2NnPr
(nPrPNP)], have been synthesized. The
X-ray crystal structures
of
[Ag3(μ-dppm)3(μ3-η1-C⋮C-C6H4-NO2-p)]2+
and
[Ag3(μ-dppm)3(μ3-η1-C⋮C-C6H4-NO2-p)2]+
have been determined.
