with Praseodymium

Reactions of Pr(NO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>3</sub> with Ph<sub>2</sub>P(O)−CH<sub>2</sub>CH<sub>2</sub>−P(O)Ph<sub>2</sub> and Ph<sub>2</sub>P(O)−C<sub>5</sub>H<sub>3</sub>N−P(O)Ph<sub>2</sub> yielded layered network coordination polymers with
bidentate ligands spanning the lanthanide atoms in a bridging
fashion. The praseodymium cations with “spacer” ligands form two-dimensional building blocks assembling into either square grid or
herringbone network.
