The synthesis, structure, and magnetochemical characterization of the largest manganese oxime cluster are reported. The Mn₁₅/2-pyridinealdoxime compound is mixed-valence (II/III) and possesses an irregular structural motif with a novel Mn/O core. The oximato-bridged cluster exhibits an S = 6 ground state and a negative magnetoanisotropy.
