We present a new strategy for the heterogenization of catalysts. The strategy relies on the containment
of soluble polymers within a polyurea microcapsule. Diffusion ordered spectroscopy and spin−spin relaxation
measurements are used to demonstrate that the encapsulated polymer is behaving as if it is in solution, not as a
solid. Since the interior polymer behaves as if it is in solution, it should be possible to modify the capsule and
polymeric contents separately.
