Asymmetric hydrogenation of α-(N-benzoyl-N-methylamino)propiophenone through dynamic kinetic resolution was performed by using a polymer-immobilized chiral diamine−ruthenium−BINAP−t-BuOK system in order to yield syn-β-amide alcohol exclusively with nearly perfect enantioselectivity.
