The new clusters CrFe₂(CO)₁₀E₄ (E = S, 1; E = Se, 2) have been isolated from the room-temperature reactions of Fe₂(CO)₆(μ-E₂) and Cr(CO)₅(THF), and the structure of CrFe₂(CO)₁₀Se₄has been established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods.
