fluorides
to 3-amido-2-oxindoles has been developed. Quinine-derived squaramides
were identified as efficient catalysts. A series of spirocyclic oxindole
sultams were prepared with excellent yields and enantioselectivities.
A reaction mechanism via bifunctional activation was proposed.
