A unique self-penetrating coordination framework with (424.64) network topology is constructed from cage-shaped [Pb64-O)2(O2C)8] clusters as eight-connected nodes and long V-shaped dicarboxylate backbones as spacers, which interestingly can be regarded as the cross-linking of two interpenetrating six-connected pcu networks.
