Near Linear Ta−H−B Geometry: [TaCl₂(η-C₅Me₅){κ³-H,S,S′-H₂B(methimazolyl)₂}]

The reaction of [TaCl₄(η-C₅Me₅)] with Na[H₂B(mt)₂] provides the tantalum(IV) complex [TaCl₂(η-C₅Me₅){H₂B(mt)₂}], the crystal structure of which reveals an essentially linear Ta–H–B interaction.
