Non-cyclopentadienyl Titanium(III)−Magnesium Hydride Formation by Reduction of an Amidotitanium(IV) Complex

The reduction of an arylamido-based titanium(IV) chloride by magnesium has resulted in the formation of a unique, non-cyclopentadienyl titanium(III)−magnesium hydride with the concomitant intramolecular metalation of the arylamido ligands.
