To approach the concept, we synthesized telechelic PNIPAM derivatives through atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) and post reactions; an immunoglobulin G (IgG) binding ligand was incorporated at the α-terminal and some carboxylic acid groups for immobilization were embedded at another terminal. The thermoresponsive behaviors were characterized by a temperature-variable turbidity measurement and surface plasmon resonance (SPR) measurement. %I ACS Publications
