Synthesis and Characterization of Thorium <i>a</i><i>nsa</i>-Cyclopentadienyl−Amido Complexes GoldenJeffery T. Kazul'kinDenis N. ScottBrian L. VoskoboynikovAlexander Z. BurnsCarol J. 2003 Two new thorium complexes, a tetramer (<b>1</b>) of C5Me4Si(Me)2NPhThCl2, and a dimer (<b>2</b>) of Li(Et2O)2[C5Me4Si(Me)2N-<i>t</i>-BuThCl3], have been synthesized and characterized. In both cases, structural studies reveal the thorium centers may be viewed as having pseudo-octahedral geometry, formally with two dative and two covalent chloride interactions.
