%X The complex [{(TMS)_{2}N}_{4}(μ_{4}-Cl)Sm_{4}(μ-SPh)_{4}(μ_{3}-Cl)Li(THF)] has been formed by protonolysis of [(Me_{3}Si)_{2}N]_{3}Sm(μ-Cl)Li(THF)_{3} with 1 equiv of HSPh, which contains a square array of Sm(III) ions connected by a central μ_{4}-Cl ligand. The edges of the square Sm_{4} array are bridged by four μ_{3}-Cl and four μ-SPh ligands. The four Sm atoms and Li atom are connected by four μ_{3}-Cl ligands.
