A novel three-dimensional heterobimetallic cluster {[Bu<sub>4</sub>N][WS<sub>4</sub>Cu<sub>3</sub>(CN)<sub>2</sub>]}<sub><i>n</i></sub> (<b>1</b>) with a heavily distorted diamondoid topology was constructed from the T-shaped building clusters [WS<sub>4</sub>Cu<sub>3</sub>]<sup>+</sup> and single cyanide bridges in a 4-connected mode; this cluster shows strong third-order nonlinear optical properties.
