Photolysis and Thermolysis of Bis(imino)pyridine Cobalt Azides: C−H Activation from Putative Cobalt Nitrido Complexes Crisita Carmen Hojilla Atienza Amanda C. Bowman Emil Lobkovsky Paul J. Thermolysis or photolysis of two examples resulted in intramolecular C−H activation of the benzylic positions of the aryl substituents. For the mesityl-substituted compound, C−H activation by the putative nitride resulted in formation of a neutral imine ligand and modification of the chelate by hydrogen transfer to the imine carbon. 2010-11-24 00:00:00 Thermolysi chelate Azide cobalt nitrido compounds photolysi intramolecular Activation complex activation modification hydrogen transfer Bis nitride imine ligand bi aryl substituents Putative Cobalt Nitrido ComplexesA series formation imine carbon azide precursor benzylic positions Photolysi
