Chen, Yuxiang Cao, Wei Wang, Kang Jiang, Jianzhuang Unprecedented Phthalocyanines Bearing Eight Di-butylamino Peripheral Substituents: Synthesis, Spectroscopy, and Structure Unprecedented 2,3,9,10,16,17,23,24-octakis(di-butylamino)phthalocyanine compounds M{Pc[N(C4H9)2]8} (M = 2H, Mg, Cu, Zn) (<b>1</b>–<b>4</b>) were prepared and structurally characterized on the basis of single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, representing the first structurally characterized alkylamino-substituted phthalocyanine examples. These novel phthalocyanine derivatives have also been characterized by a wide range of spectroscopic methods including MALDI-TOF mass spectra, NMR, electronic absorption, and IR spectroscopy in addition to elemental analysis. Their electrochemistry was also studied by cyclic voltammetry. cyclic voltammetry;electrochemistry;Unprecedented Phthalocyanines Bearing;basis;absorption;IR spectroscopy;Substituent;Synthesi;octaki;Mg;StructureUnprecedented;Spectroscopy;compound;Zn;NMR;spectroscopic methods;2 H;spectra;diffraction;analysis;novel phthalocyanine derivatives;Cu 2015-10-19
